Scotch Eggs are DELISH!

Made them tonight…easy peasy!  And oh so delish!

Boil and shell eggs.  Take your favorite bulk sausage and wrap it around dry eggs evenly.  Then roll in crushed crackers or bread crumbs ( I used Ritz), place on a rack over a pan and bake in in a 400 degree oven for 30 -35 minutes turning once half way thru.


Along with homemade biscuits…finally getting the hang of them. It does take practice!

The biscuits look delicious. We haven’t had biscuits since moving here because I cannot make them. At least I have not found a recipe that agrees with me. Do you mind sharing yours, please?

You can’t beat a good biscuit recipe. I use my mom’s and have been for years. I think it’s the best but I bet yours comes close. I can tell by looking at them. They look gorgeous! You can buy scotch eggs in all the shops over here. They are a very popular snack food, but I bet they can’t hold a candle to yours! I prefer homemade anything any day of the week over shop bought!

My parents love Scotch eggs. Me? Well, I’m not a fan, but they always look good. I bet that some ingenious mum came up with these to create something for her family that would stretch the contents of her pantry. There is nothing better than homely food like that. Well, except for Scotch eggs. 😉
