Funny Pattern…any suggestions?

And by funny I mean “WOW…huh”? I bought this apron book I have been wanting.

Japanese publication.  Please, I am a pretty good seamstress, I can figure it out. Seems harmless enough

Until I unfolded it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The look on Hannah’s face says it all!

I have tons of Japanese craft books and I love them.  But WOW.  Where to start?  I think I will be better off to just look at the pictures and freehand the patterns!!! But I have not given up.  I am taking the book with me today and while I am waiting for Husband to see his doctor and I am going to study it.  Because surely in 2 hours or so I can teach myself Japanese, right?

Do you think it is actually a map?

Oh well…I will keep you posted on  my progress!

Oh my, it looks like one. I can’t wait to see what the end results are :)

LOL Let me know when you get to Albuquerque. Seriously crazy! I have a few Japanese pattern books and I have had the same problem…

Oh my word, that’s hysterical! I’m not sure if it was in English I’d be able to figure it out.

Oh my goodness. Me, I would head straight to the shredder with that thing.
Second, I would apply bandages to my eyes to stop the bleeding.
Third, I would have some chocolate (can’t hurt!). I’m just sayin’….
Good luck, and you’re a brave woman!

Gee Whiz lady…. What the heck kind of pattern is that? I say, just wing it!!! hee hee
BTW, that Hannah cracks me up!!! Love her.

Woohoo! You can do it, Susan. Let us know when you figure it out. Maybe you could give us a Japanese pattern reading tutorial on your blog. Sounds like fun, huh?

That is hysterical. I’d love to see your apron when your finished.
