Wednesday ‘s Woman – Vicki at Turkey Feathers

Happy September everyone!

I have been following Vicki’s blog since I she began.  I can’t really tell you how I first found it but I am so happy I did.  It is a gem! Vicki is just…well inspirational.  I don’t know how else to describe her and her blog.  And she is a sharer.  Big time.  So many ideas and beautiful pictures and she writes as though you are in conversation.  I love that. TurkeyFeathers

Vicki is all about handstitching and has just finished up her second indie book (see above and then click and visit her blog!). It’s title is Embroidery Craft: Stitching Through the Seasons. And from the looks of it, Vicki has outdone herself!  The photo of Autumn on the contents pages is worth the price of the book!  It made me happy all over to see that photo of such a beautiful red tree!

I have her first book blanket statement. Oh my! It is the story of “one thrifted wool blanket and the cast of characters and crafts that were made from it“.  Amazing!

I really can’t emphasize enough how beautiful her website is – the projects she shares, the beautiful area she lives in…cooking, sewing, girl talk.  It is so worth your time. The colors are always so soothing and her welcome mat is always out!

Get a cup of morning brew and drop in at Turkey Feathers for a truly inspirational visit.  Not the least of which are tons of freebies!  I told you Vicki is a sharer!
