Another recipe from Meals in Minutes!

Ooey-Gooey Butter Cake – WHAT?????!!!????? OH MY – the name alone makes my mouth water.  Ooey?  and Gooey?  And butter?  I will take a tiny taste. Just a tiny one.  But since I am not allowed gluten that will be my limit.  But someone is going to enjoy it for sure.


YUMMY! And too TOO simple.  Five ingredients.


plus eggs.  How easy is that ?  So here’s your recipe

  • 18 1/2 ounce pkg yellow cake mix
  • 4 eggs divided
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 16 ounce powdered sugar
  • 8 ounce cream cheese softened

In a bowl, combine dry cake mix, 2 eggs and butter.  Spread into a greased 13 x 9 baking pan.  In a separate bowl, combine powdered sugar, cream cheese and remaining eggs; blend well.  Spread over cake mixture;  bake at 375 for 40-45 minutes.  Cool; cut into squares to serve.  Makes 24 servings.

Hmmmm, I wonder if a gluten free cake mix would have the same results?? I may just have to try it@! Thanks!
