Gobble-Good Turkey Bake from The Harvest Table and Chinet Review

Gobble-Good Turkey Bake was a hit! Delicious AND easy.  It was ready to go in the oven when the oven beeped telling me it was preheated.  That’s fast.  And that was with me stopping to take pictures.  Ben really REALLy enjoyed it.  Two BIG helpings.  Here you go.  Try it, you’ll like it!

And check out that pan!  Yep I used Chinet’s NEW Disposable Bakeware and it is amazing.  Seriously.  It truly is non stick.  It was truly sturdy.  No bending or buckling.  And when we were finished with supper I just popped on the plastic lid that came with it and put it in the refrigerator.  Lunch tomorrow :)

I want to encourage you to go check out their website. So cool! Four sizes for your every baking need.  I just think about how great these will be at the holidays.  Bake a Christmas Treat and give as a gift right in the pan with a clear lid.  Just tie with a bow and go! I will be showing and tell you about my experiences with them as we go along with two weeks of great recipes made in great disposable pans.

Now I suppose you would like to know how to enter to win one of these great prizes.  Nothing new there.  You comment you are entered.  At the end of the giveaway, I will draw a name.  Super easy I think.  Well, let’s add a little something to this.  Make you work a little harder for such a great pair of prizes.  In your comment tell me what you love about Autumn.  That’s not too much to ask.  I suppose it’s only fair that I share something too.

Autumn, how do I love thee?  I love shorter days. Cooler nights.  Bluer skies.  I love Autumn’s holidays.  I love Autumn’s food.  I love   Autumn’s colors. I love the word, Autumn.  I love thick socks. And cardigans.  Quilts   on the beds. The sound of leaves rustling. I love flannel shirts and sheets and pj’s.

Autumn is in you as much as around you.  It’s a feeling.  It’s a scent.  It’s a taste. And it is different for everyone. It’s a memory.  Déjà vu.  The first day of  school whether it be kindergarten or college.  The smell of bus fumes, newly sharpened pencils, paste and floor wax.  It’s a new notebook with nothing written in it.  A new outfit you and your mom picked out just for that first day of school. It’s anticipation of  how your favorite hockey or football team will fare. It’s tailgate  parties and homecoming dances. It’s planting an Autumn garden and harvesting the last of your Summer crops.   It’s that first bowl of chili.  Its pumpkins on your porch and the beginning of the best family times of the year.

Now it’s your turn.  You don’t have to carry on like I did.  You can if you like but just a sentence or two is great too.  I really do want to know what you all love about Autumn.

Great NEW Book from Gooseberry Patch! The Harvest Table and NEW Bakeware from Chinet!

foryourposts

I think every time I open a package from Gooseberry Patch that the book I pull out is my favorite.  I think “OH this one is the best so far.”  They just keep doing it right peeps.  I love EVERYTHING about this book from front to back.

Adorbs cover don’t you think? So imagine my delight when I got TWO great packages this week.  Chinet, you know Chinet, THE brand to go to for all your disposable tableware,  well they are taking a BIG old step.  They are launching a line of  disposable bakeware! And I was asked to try this new product and put my two cents in.  I will be testing several sizes, in my new apron that was in the box :) You know I love aprons!  I was VERY happy to see that the new line of disposible bakeware is made from 90% recycled material.  Here’s a little blurb from their website:

The first disposable baking dishes that let you take your food from oven to table to freezer to microwave, all in one attractive, non-stick pan. And because it’s from the Chinet brand, strength and stability are built in. Bakeware is designed to be sturdy and dependable no matter what you’ve got cooked up. And not only does it look good, but you can leave it behind without worrying about losing your favorite permanent pan.

Yep, that’s how they roll.  Convenient, sturdy, all in one, lovely celery green outside and non stick on the inside.  And like the website said,  no worries about losing a pan!

Check back in tomorrow when I hit you with not only a terrific recipe for Gobble-Good Turkey Bake but I will tell you all about my experience with this NEW Chinet  bakeware.  AND how you can enter to win not only a copy of Gooseberry Patch’s new book The Harvest Table, but some lucky ducky will get to try the NEW Chinet bakeware because they will be mailing some to try! Very cool, don’t you think?  Oh and you can check out their website for more product info.

And I don’t know about you but the first warm weather (hot really) I start planning for Autumn all the wonderful things that go along with it.  And I am going to help you out with some recipes courtesy of Gooseberry Patch!  See you tomorrow!

Well someone’s loss is another’s gain.

I never got a response from the first winner of  Meals in Minutes from Gooseberry Patch so….someone else is a lucky ducky this fine Friday morning!  I think  a month less one day is more than enough time for someone to claim a prize don’t you?  I shouldn’t have let it take this long really but I thought maybe they were on vacation or something and would get back to me.  So anywho…drumroll please…

CONGRATULATIONS KELLY! from unDeniably Domestic is the lucky winner!  Kelly I am emailing you and facebooking you and if all else fails googling you!  You are getting this LOVELY cookbook if I have to bring it to you!  Kidding.  That’s going too far.  But I know you will love it!

Stay tuned.  I really and truly am going to write a blog post soon.  I really am.
