It seemed I almost missed it but since I likely won’t have time to blog tomorrow. SOOOO busy! Halloween preparations and our oldest and her husband are spending the night tomorrow on the way to his parents YAY!!

Just so you know: October 29 is National Cat Day. Currently we are under the spell of 6 lovely kitties – Siobhan Alpha Female (in my cover photo) along with Luther, Gertie, Julius, Leo and Angus. National Cat Day was founded by animal welfare advocate Colleen Paige. It is a celebration that takes place on October 29th every year in the United States. The National Cat Day website states that the holiday was first celebrated in 2005 “to help galvanize the public to recognize the number of cats that need to be rescued each year and also to encourage cat lovers to celebrate the cat(s) in their life for the unconditional love and companionship they bestow upon us.” The day is supported by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a nonprofit organization which also works to encourage pet adoption. An international cat day was created in 2002 by the International Fund for Animal Welfare.

But I want to say how much of a crazy cat lady I am – if you didn’t already know and share somethings I posted on facebook.  photo 1

Getting in some cuddles while Ben scooped the poop. Angus peed in both litter boxes WHILE he was cleaning them. The minute he got finished with one, Angus jumped up in it. The second one he had to strain pretty hard but he made a wet spot and then took about 5 minutes to cover it up. He cannot stand for us to clean out the litter boxes. He’s a weirdo. LOL

And now the rest of the brood:
